A pair of brogues are a key element for any wardrobe, so it was important we got ours right.

We’ve gone for a full wingtip brogue that has its uppers cut with sweeping lines down the side of a classic Oxford silhouette.

A lot of attention needs to go into making “good” brogue shoes.

The Italian vegan leather uppers (made with 69% bio-based content) have been skived at the edges where the pieces have been stitched together, helping them stay flush to the lines of the shoe allowing the pattern to flow smoothly. The edges have been finely cut with a saw tooth edge.

The fleur-de-lis pattern on the toes has been properly made with holes that go right through the uppers to create a striking appearance. The toes have been burnished with dark polish to add character. The outsoles have stitching details and wood effect 2.5cm heels in a colour to compliment the uppers.

Throughout the rest of our Oxford Brogues, you’ll find the same things you can expect from all WVS footwear. The outsoles are just flexible enough (not stiff, and not too flexible), are durable, grippy and have been finished with a WVS emboss.

Inside you will find two types of vegan suede, making them comfy to wear and improving breathability. The insoles have stitching details and deep squishy insoles made from recycled materials.
